On the Coast
Our Orewa physio clinic is on Cammish Lane, about five minutes from Silverdale and Millwater, six from Red Beach and ten from Whangaparāoa. That matters more for physiotherapy than for most things, because physio is rarely one appointment — it is a course of them, with exercises in between.
Every physio here is Senior or Principal level, and appointments run longer than the fifteen-minute slots common elsewhere. You get hands-on manual therapy, Western medicine acupuncture (dry needling) where it helps, and an exercise programme you can actually keep up.
Physio Orewa sits alongside osteopathy, acupuncture, massage, functional medicine and nutrition in the same clinic, so if physio is not the right answer we can move you across the corridor rather than back down the motorway.
ACC and CareWay
A lot of people search for free ACC physio on the Hibiscus Coast, so here is the straight answer: ACC covers a substantial part of the fee, and a surcharge applies on top. It is not free, and any clinic advertising it as free is usually recovering the difference somewhere else. Our exact surcharge is on the prices page, and we will tell you the number before you book.
We are also a registered CareWay provider, which matters if you have had a knee, shoulder or lower back injury. CareWay is an ACC-funded pathway that gets you faster access to assessment, imaging and specialist input than the standard route, managed from here rather than bounced between providers.
