A collaborative, whole-person
approach to osteopathy

Osteopathic care across Auckland's North Shore & Hibiscus Coast

Anna is a UK-trained osteopath who believes deeply in working with her patients, not just on them. Her treatment plans are built in harmony with each person's values, beliefs and daily life — taking time to understand history, goals and circumstances before recommending an approach.

"I want patients to leave each session understanding their recovery — and feeling part of it. Healing happens in partnership."

Anna combines hands-on osteopathic techniques — soft tissue work, joint mobilisation, muscle energy techniques and gentle manipulation — with active rehabilitation, exercise advice and movement retraining. She adapts her communication, sensory environment and pacing to suit each patient, creating a calm, inclusive space where people from all walks of life can feel comfortable.

As an ACC-registered osteopath, Anna can lodge new claims at your first appointment — no GP referral required. She also accepts Southern Cross and Afterpay for all consultations.

About Osteopath Anna Stepanenko — Auckland

Anna's path into osteopathy grew from a lifelong curiosity about science, the human body and movement — combined with a creative streak that brings nuance and adaptability to her clinical work. She trained at the University College of Osteopathy in the United Kingdom, completing her Master of Osteopathy and gaining dual registration with the General Osteopathic Council (UK) and the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand.

Her years training in martial arts — particularly Muay Thai — have given her a deep, embodied appreciation for biomechanics, mindful movement and the role of physical fitness in human health. This carries through into how she works with patients on movement, rehabilitation and graduated return to activity.

Anna is passionate about engaging patients in their own recovery — sharing knowledge, practical strategies and tips so they leave each appointment understanding the journey ahead. She works with people from all walks of life and has a particular interest in providing thoughtful, sensory-aware care for neurodivergent patients.

Outside of practice, Anna is passionate about languages, travel and art. Through years of living and studying internationally, she has picked up conversational knowledge of Mandarin and Spanish, alongside fluency in Russian and English — bringing a genuinely global perspective to her patient care.
